动词与动词短语，高考有5个考点，本文主要介绍第4个考点：常用动词的固定搭配。
动词用来表示主语做什么、是什么或怎么样，在句中单独或帮助构成谓语。动词作谓语时，必须与主语在人称和数上保持一致（见语法主谓一致）、具有时态、语态的变化（见语法动词的时态和语态）、还具有表示语气方面的语法特征（见语法虚拟语气）。动词短语是指英语中有相当多的动词常和其他词类一起连用，构成一个固定词组，可看成一个整体，同一般实义动词一样使用。
